WOW! Perfect sunny side up eggs, crispy home fries, & 3 big, thick slices of out of this world bacon cooked to perfection. I do wish my toast had been hot & buttered to the edges but no places serves hot toast buttered to the edges. I always order a side of butter which solves the problem adequately. Still, this place gets my 5 star recommendation & is now my go to place for breakfast in Tahlequah.
We love this place great staff good food clean aeres reasonable price
Wonderful food and great service, reasonable
Home made taste, freshly cooked food, and very clean establishment.
Good food large orders great service
What are the chicken fried steak in the batter on it was not that good but other than that the inside is clean that I could see of but I feel that the cook needs to be wearing a hairnet and look cleaner and not come out of the kitchen
The BEST home cooked comfort food in town. The mashed potatoes are perfect, the cheese curds are cheese bliss, and the breakfast is some of the best in town. Definitely a greasy spoon and diet food is not on the menu but a great place to treat yourself and your family.
Great food, friendly service!
Best Indian taco for miles around
Good Breakfast meals! Small inside but they easily accommodated our large group of 9. Our order was mixed up but they quickly made it right. Would come back again.
If you come, come hungry. The service g sizes are enormous. And I'm a great big, fat guy, so that's saying something! The food is great, too. The service was a bit slow and inattentive, but they were all nice.
We really liked the food and there was plenty of it!
It is a very good place good food nice people
Love having good breakfast for lunch
Food was okay, but the buffet is overpriced. Not to mention it was half-empty for the entirety of my visit.
They have MOVED!!! Now they are in Tahlequah (Behind Taco Bell)! Thank goodness that our favorite waitress moved too!! Rita is awesome!!!
Great food great service
Ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit and gravy. Never before did I know it was possible to ruin bacon. The hash browns were not cooked all the way thru and not even browned on the bottom, but they were cold in the center. Gravy had grease floating on top. I'd have sent it back had the waitress ever came back by. I almost always give a bad restaurant a retry, in case it was a bad day for the cook, but I don't know if I will this one or not.
Love the at home atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely will be returning.
Had breakfast there. Big biscuits. Fried eggs were perfect. Service was very nice. Gravy was like mommas. In other words, AWESOME!
Great comfort food.
Great place to eat and great prices.
This place is amazing, the food is very delicious and you should come hungry. The chili cheese tots are a meal in itself, some of the best steak fries I've ever had! The roast beef sandwich to die for! If you're in town, you must come here to eat.
Was a good place. Closed down now
Average run of the mill mom and pop restaurant. Nice breakfast buffet. Seems a little overpriced for my liking but nice atmosphere.
Arrived at 2:30, we didn't know that they closed at 3:00. They still have a dinner menu but no dinner. Unfortunately they were also out of fish which I've been told is very good. I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich with white gravy on the side. The sandwich was decent but the gravy tasted like wet flour and the consistency was almost glue like. Maybe it's because it was so close to closing time. I'll probably give it another chance in the future but I call ahead to check if they have fish.
Went there craving beans, cornbread and fried taters and they didnt disappoint. The gals in the kitchen whipped up a homemade meal that wasnt on the menu.
Y'all... go here for breakfast. For such an unassuming building, holy cow is this restaurant incredible. The chicken fried steak is probably the best I've had in my travels. No joke, it's incredible. Homemade gravy, crisp and butter hash browns, and good coffee. My whole family enjoyed breakfast here, and we're definitely coming back for the dinner buffet this weekend.
Breakfast buffet awesome. They make sausage pancake corndogs very good. Kids loved them.
Caution when going to Hungry House. The name says it all, make sure you bring your appetite. Great food, great people, perfect relaxing atmosphere. Pack a pillow, you're probably gonna want to take a nap after you leave. However they DO NOT and WILL NOT give belly rubs after you've eaten to much.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and the best chili dog I've had in decades!!
That was the greatest, hugest, biscuit I've EVER had from a restaurant! Gravy was good homemade real deal. Sooo coming back next time we're in Tahlequah!
We go there every weekend. I love this place. Best comfort food you can find. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.
Very good food a little overpriced but definitely worth it.
The service was lousy and very prejudice and racist. Never will go there again.
The food was good, wait staff needs to be more if a team.
Waited over 10 minutes in the front before anyone approached us. By the time they appeared we were already walking out the door. A friend who got there before said the food was alright but the wait staff was lacking in experience. We only chose this place because it was one of the only places to eat at 9am
Ordered Breakfast Buffet . All the food was cold and quality of a 2 star hotel breakfast buffet. The eggs were powered, bacon ,sausage, pancakes , and all other food were microwavable items. I will say that the food coming out that people had ordered of the menu were a TOTALLY DIFFERENT QUALITY. The biscuits, pancakes, looked big ,fluffy, fresh and homemade. We would have complained and ordered something off the menu if we weren't so disappointed in the all around experience but we didn't even attempt to eat the food on our plates and left to dine somewhere else.
Needed a place to eat while I’m in town working and this one is it. I’ve tried others in the area and they aren’t bad at all,but this one is my favorite. They are super friendly and IF A MISTAKE IS MADE,they Own it and fix it . Bathrooms and plates are always clean. That is something I pay attention too. Stop by here, you won’t tegret it .
Real good food and present waitresses
Love, love, love this place. We eat here regularly. Great food, and comfortable environment. ❤️
Good food, one dinner is enough for two!
Service was good. No buffet. Biscuits were huge but not good. Bacon was partly raw.
The food was great, the service was great and so was the price!
Not actually a review.....just note: they moved back to Tahlequah!!! YAY!!!
Wonderful service paired with delicious coffee. The home fries were wonderfullly crispy and the chicken fried steak interestingly tangy. Combined with beautifully scrambled eggs layered on top with real cheddar cheese makes for a wonderful lunch. As for service our coffee was never more than half empty.
Good food quickly.
Always good food
Really really good food. The beacon is so delicious, so the harsh brown. Server is very very friendly.
Great place
